Originally from Fleet, Patrick graduated from Leeds University School of Dentistry in 1998.
His career has been focussed on a providing care in most aspects of dentistry within general practice. In addition to completing many thousands of treatments during the routine care of his patients, Patrick has developed special interests in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, endondontics (root canal treatment) and dental implants.
Patrick has completed several years of formal post-graduate training to achieve qualifications in dental implantology from the Eastman Dental Institute (University College London): This is considered a ‘centre of excellence’ for dental post-graduate training and learning.
Patrick has placed over 500 implants since 2008. Having worked in the same location for a long period, Patrick is able to review most of his implant patients and has a success rate in excess of 98%. As well as working in Fleet, Patrick has worked as a visiting Dental Implantologist in 3 different practices, receiving referrals from dentists within those practices. His attention is now focussed entirely on his practice in Fleet where he regularly receives referrals from local dentists within the area.
Patrick has a keen interest in material science, particularly the engineering of biocompatible materials. He has been responsible for the development and certification of biocompatible implantable alloys which are now being used in patients, both in the UK and abroad. Several of his articles have been published in the dental press.
Patrick lives in Fleet with his wife and 3 sons.
