Patient Case: Immediate Implants for the Upper Front Teeth

This patient came to us with failing crowns and root fillings on her upper four front teeth. Rather than removing the teeth and waiting before fitting implants, we were able to extract the teeth and place the implants in the very same appointment.

Immediate implant placement

This approach — called immediate implant placement — meant she avoided an extra healing period and, importantly, helped preserve her own natural bone, which can otherwise shrink away once a tooth is removed.

The result, two years on

The implants were placed in 2024. The X-ray and photos shown here were taken over two years later, in 2026, and show fantastic results — the implants have integrated beautifully with her bone, giving her a strong, stable, long-term foundation for her new teeth.
